Pedestrian workshop summary now available
In late 2015, the Roadway Safety Institute held three workshops designed to inform transportation practitioners about innovative treatment options for improving pedestrian safety. A summary report of the workshops’ content, including participant discussions at each event, is now available.
Each workshop featured a presentation by Institute researcher Ron Van Houten of Western Michigan University. Nearly 90 individuals from nonprofit organizations, private firms, and state and local agencies attended the workshops, held in Wisconsin, Indiana, and Ohio.
